odometer problem in 87 GTA

Engine: 5.7L TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27:1
odometer problem in 87 GTA
i have a 87 GTA with a digital dash, everything works perfectly except for the odometer section. No matter what button i press, it only flashes 999999999. i dont know if it is something that is a hardware problem or if there is just a cable that got disconnected some how. i dont really have alot of experience with cars, especially electronics so bear with me. thanks in advance

i have a dig dash pdf and write this problems , i because the chip is broke, you must replace the chip, m151466 for record the memory.
i have a problem, because i buy a digital dash in ebay, and all components wroks fine, but the odometer only light, but no digits in it. no letter, nothing, am im spanish and i want to change the miles for KM/h, and only i can change with the odometer buttons, or is other posibility ?
