Speedometer problems

My car is a 91 RS and it no longer has a computer or the wiring for it. My question is as follows. About a week ago my speedometer stopped working when the headlights are on but works just fine when they are off. What could be my problem I am suspecting a ground however I am not sure. My gas gauge also stopped working weather the lights are on or off. Help Please!

Did you eliminate the computer? Are the purple and yellow wires from the VSS spliced to the speedo?

Re: Speedometer problems

Did you find out how to fix your speedometer issue? My car is now doing the same exact thing. My oil pressure gauge does not work either.
