Need help finding turn signal flasher

I know this issue has been discussed alot, but the more i read the more confused i became so i thought i'd just ask. I just bought a 1989 camaro rs 5.0L, and the turn signals dont work. when i turn the left side on nothing happens, but when i turn the right side on the right arrow stays solid but the only signal that turns on is the right parking light on the front of the car which stays solid. i am going to replace all the bulbs because some of them are blown, but i might also replace the flasher to save myself another trip to the auto parts store. all my fuses are good, there are two bigger metal ones that i'm not sure what they do or how to check them. Anyway, what i'd like to know is where is the turn signal flasher and what exactly does it look like?

FLASHING

The turn signal flasher should be clipped to the fuse block mounting bracket to the left of the steering column.

The fuse block is located behind the knee bolster inside a door which is a part a the knee bolster.

In vehicles which have been worked on it’s sometimes simply left hanging in that area.

You’ll be looking for a can 1”x1”.

It can be any color.

It can be metal or plastic.

I suggest you get an electronic one because it will handle all types of lamps and LEDs.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!
