need help with throttle position sensor

need to know where the wires go from the throttle position sensor to the brain box on a 86 camaro with 305 tpi engine wires are fraied not getting power to sensor can can any one help

TPS is pretty simple. It has a common 5V (gry) wire which splices into pretty much all other sensors requiring 5V
A GRD (blk) which also splices into the common ground for every sensor and eventually is bolted to the rear of the cyl heads
The Signal wire(blu) is connected to the ECM

If you have no voltage across the gry wire with the IGN on then you have a break in the wire somewhere. Check voltage on any other gry common to test if you're getting 5V from the ECM in the first place. If you have 5V there, simply splice off of it to the break in the TPS wire
