Electronic Odometer Help!
Ok I'm stumped on this one. My odometer stopped at 84,xxx and I need to fix it. The car is an 88 GTA and has a 145mph electronic speedo. The speedometer works fine as do all the other gauges and the trip will reset but the odometer is frozen. I did a search on this issue but only found fixes for the cable diven speedos. I really don't want to swap out the entire cluster. I'm really not sure where to start so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Electronic Odometer Help!
Edit: I misread, I thought you had the digital dash. There is a small electric motor that drives the odometer, it has probably stopped working. The easiest fix is to get a spare speedo, change the mileage to match, and swap it in.

Re: Electronic Odometer Help!
Is there a way to match up the mileage? That's really my biggest hesitation about swapping speedos because I really want to keep the mileage as acurate as possible. Also, I know if I ever find another 145 speedo with that mileage that low it won't be cheap either. Is it possible to swap out just the little electric motor?
