no power, fuse related?
I forgot I had my ECM out of the car and I went to start it (rough night last night) the car didn't even get a full crank and I lost all power (interior lights, horn etc). I plugged the ECM in, checked fuses under the dash, tried resetting by unplugging the battery and still no power throughout the car. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ted

you may have fried a fusible link... I think it's connected at the starter...

Re: no power, fuse related?
take a voltmeter set to dc, and test for power to fuse block. and check engine ground on block. report back. and there isnt a fuse-able link for main power block power-if there was it would have to be a high amperage fuse 100amp+, so i dont think its a fuse-able link, the only fusable links i can think of is for the starter, fans and lower load amps.. just test everything to see where the power comes and goes. relays are used here and there check those with key to on position not start

Re: no power, fuse related?
I had power everywhere just not through to the car and the fuseable links on the starter appeared to be OK. Once before I wiggled the harness behind the right fender so I figured what the hell and viola, started right up. I guess I'll be checking that out this week lol Thanks for the suggestions guys.
