1985 Berlinetta Headlight Issue
I seldom drive at night so I don't actually know when this problem started. A few weeks ago I pulled up in the dark and noticed the splash of my lights seemed weak on the passenger side so I got out and took a look. Only the driver side low beam was on. Went back and hit the high beams to see if maybe I had a bulb out. Lo and behold BOTH passenger side lights come on but the innermost of the drivers side stays off.
I suppose its possible the drivers side high beam is burnt out, but what would cause the passenger side low beam to stay off until the HIGH setting is turned on?
The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is that I've had a mechanic and an electrical specialist up under the dash on the passenger side where all the important modules are, trying to solve my heater blower relay issue. The electrician actually fixed some bad solder joints in the heater relay module and I got my high blower working (didn't work when I bought the car). What worries me about all that dinking around in there is that maybe something got wiggled loose. I'm crossing my fingers that its not a bad light module.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm handy with a screwdriver but I have only the most rudimentary understanding of electrical systems.
It occurs to me to mention that all other systems are working as well as they ever have. Don't know if it matters at all, maybe it will mean something to someone familiar with Berlinettas, the low blower dot-light always has a faint glow. I can't say for sure if it was like that before the electrician got up in there and fixed the blower relay.

Check power and ground at both bulbs on the driver's side. Check the low beam circuit. The outer bulb is dual element. A ground circuit on the drivers side headlamps can cause this type of symptom.
