Weird problem

I have a problem that im trying to figure out. When I hit the brakes, the interior lights and radio display dim. Also when the brake is hit, 2 front turn signals (not back) turn on. They dont flash, but just stay on, like i fliped on the parking lights.

Im thinking i may have a bad headlight switch.

Also, the day before this started happening, i put in a new alternator.

Re: Weird problem

I had the same issue on my gmc pickup many years ago, if I remember correctly it was either the brake switch or incorrect brake bulb that was installed

Re: Weird problem

Ya, thats what i thought about earlier. I just got finished painting it, and had to replace the alternator, and all the bulbs in the back because they had over spray. Maybe i got the wrong bulbs. Ill check it out tomorrow.

THanks.
