Found this repair bill in the junk yard..
I was taking the rear lights off of a cherry 1992 maroon firebird. Cherry, except for the front end damage that look like she had hit a wall at a 45 degree angle. Toasted the front right end and pushed it up to the firewall.
I was looking around the interior and found a repair bill from 2001. Looks like she had a fuse problem. When trouble shooting interior lighting and gauges, I always start at the cigarette lighter. $121.00 just to pull some coins out of the lighter? I would have thought something like $35.00.

Re: Found this repair bill in the junk yard..
haha that's funny. obviously I do not have the bill in front of me. but just because you start there doesnt mean everyone does. now depending on what fuse blew. then you go. now if it was an interior accesory fuse. then yeah a lighter is a good starting point. Nevertheless the owner had to pay because he couldnt figure it out on his own. and shops are in business to make money, not to do repair work for free. Maybe the slob owner shouldnt slop around his change. Anyway, i always look at work order when i see one in a junkyard too. cant help it. cool stuff
