wires are gone
well i pick up my second 3rd gen last week.the car is a 92 rs with 6cyl.
now i found a BIG problem the guy before me started to cutting wires to make the car a drag car and the cut the wires for the gauges and now that im making my car into a street sripe car i have no wires for gauges at all so i want to see if it will be easyer to buy a new harness or make something work like a after market part or should i just part the car out(witch i really dont want cuz i put alot of work into it)

Re: wires are gone
Are the wires just cut, or are they ripped out?
If they are just cut, can you splice them back together? The colour coding should make it easy if it's a clean cut.

Re: wires are gone
It'd be easier to either A) Buy aftermarket gauges that will fit i.e Autometer they will come with plenty o new wire. B) Purchase a new wiring harness from Painless! They sell chassis harness, engine wiring harnesses with ecms etc. Sorry, but if you wanna just go to a j/y and rip the harness outta a similar 6 cyl 3rd Gen that's also up to you. (I would just buy a new harness or gauges whats good about 20+ year old wiring anyway?)
