Car: 1988 Camaro, Holley 600 series.
Engine: 350 w/350 TPI heads
Transmission: 90+ 700R4
Axle/Gears: not sure
After market speedo for 88 camaro. (ELECTRIC)

eh as unfortunate as it is.. the previous owners replaced the trans. There is no where for my cable driven speedometer to go, so Im assuming its electric. Assuming this because where it seems the cable one is supposed to go, there are wires coming out of there

So.. I was wandering where I could get an aftermarket speedo that would fit into my gauge cluster panel and make me happy so I know how fast im going Thank you.

Sounds as if the trans is from an 90+ car. You can remove the VSS from the tail shaft and simply swap in the cable assembly (gear and sleeve). However, the get the speedo to read correctly you'll need the correct drive and/or driven gears.

I just bought one... fooor 171 dollars.. I want to punch myself in the head lmfao. But it is worth it.. I need to see how fast im going, dont feel like messing with the trans anymore.. Just want to drive it now lol.

So yup its in the mail.. black and red to match the rest of my car.. lights up red, muscle numbers, chrome bezzel.. its going to look nice.. Thank you for the link!
