Engine: 305 tbi
rear defroster

hi guys no clue what the problem is but the light comes on but nothing happens even driving for 30 mins i get nothing not even a single line. any help would be great.

Are the cables plugged into both ends of the hatch struts? Any corrosion on the connectors? Do you get 12v on the lh side one (I think it's that side iirc)

Also the defroster grid could have minute cracks in the various tracks on the glass. Mine only had a couple lines working, till I bridged them with a conductive pen.
