87 TA GTA digital dash
hi all im new to this forum and i just bought my first Trans Am last week for 900 and i wont lie it needs some work lol. it has the digital dash and im experiencing some problems with the battery and temp gauge not reading, however if i rub my finger on the lcd screen i see the arrow but it wont work for the battery gauge. also i was told the speedometer didnt work cause the VSS was not properly engaged in the transmission. is it possible i have a problem with speedometer inside the cluster? any info is appreciated thanks in advance

for the battery and temp guage i would have to say look at the wiring on the motor and look for cuts or corrision on the connectors as that what it would most likely be.
check the plug that goes into the tranny as if its messed up it wont sit properly and that might be why its not working or it might not even be plugged in
