Brake Lights wont come on.
This shouldnt be this hard, I've got a new brake light switch, all new bulbs, the ground looks good, and I cant see any faults in the wiring. Any theories? The Back Up Lights and the Turn Signal Lights work, just not the brake lights...

Did they work before you replaced the brake light switch? Do you have another switch to swap and see if it has the same issue?

Do the Hazard Lights work?
If no, use a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe both sides (one side at a time) of the STOP HAZ fuse.
Is there power on both sides?

Re: Brake Lights wont come on.
i know its been a couple months but did you ever happen to find the cause? I have the same exact problem. new brake switch and its not working. all the fuses look to be in working order but none of the wires goin to switch seem to have power. all my wires are wrapped up so I don't wanna tear into all of it just yet if its something simpler.

Re: Brake Lights wont come on.
nvm played with it for a long time and figured it out. thanks anyway. for any1 else that has this problem. make sure the contacts inside the brake switch are making good contact! I had to bend it a bit so it would work. my wires were loose as well. tightened everything up and reconnected it everything works now.
