Can anyone identify this connector?

It has been disconnected since i got my car a few years ago. I have a 305 LG4 engine and this sits on the driver side near the exhaust.

Re: Can anyone identify this connector?

Will poke at wife's car when she gets home from work, I don't remember it off hand, is there anything not working correctly by chance? Gauges acting funny, warning lights on, anything like that?

Re: Can anyone identify this connector?

What color are the wires? I can't find a plug that resembles that one on that side of the motor. The temp sensor is a spade connector style, and I'm pretty sure it's unrelated to the fuel gauge.

Re: Can anyone identify this connector?

I recall some cars came with a P/S pressure switch. The sensors output would tell the ECM to bump up the idle when the P/S system would load the engine.

An 87 block would normally have an oil pressure switch right there above the oil filter. Tan/white and orange wires.

Re: Can anyone identify this connector?

Oil pressure switch has nothing to do with the gauge.

It was already asked but, I'll repeat it. What are the wire colors going to that plug?

Tell that to my pressure gauge......

But as I have asked and had been asked again colors would make this a lot faster.
