Car: 83' Camaro, 88' TPI 350 Firebird
Engine: 383
Transmission: th350
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt w/ 5.13s or 4.56s
Power for headlights, dash, and directionals
Is power for these items come from a -10 wire off the battery to a junction block or from the starter side of things? Putting the race car back on the street once in awhile. 83' Camaro BTW, thanks for any help.

Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Power for headlights, dash, and directionals
From the factory, everything is fed through one of the fusible links at the starter. No junction block in that part of the electrical system: the post on the starter serves as the junction.

Re: Power for headlights, dash, and directionals
Thanks ,I got tail lights working today but no headlights. The starter wiring is not stock, it has a hot shot relay but I will assume that the power for the headlights comes from the same place as the tail lights. Guess my next move will be to look at the fuse box or maybe there is a relay in play. I know the headlights worked like a year or two ago, I never use them while I'm racing. Thanks again for your help.

There are no fuses or relays in the headlight circuit.
(An exception for a relay would be if the car had fog lights.)
Probe the headlight switch.
If there is no power on the red wire, most likely the fusible link is blown.
