wiring for hatch release

I am trying to get my hatch to latch and I can't find any wiring diagrams. I do not have a manual so I can't tell which fuse it might be either. Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
Geoff

This is a picture of the wiring at the latch. Note the unattached blue wire and the red/white power wire with the female plug on the end. Are these to supposed to connect?

Re: wiring for hatch release

Thanks Bob, for pointing me in the right direction. I reset the latch switch and now it goes up and down but cannot be activated remotely. I am assuming my switch is bad, even plugged in another used one, still no go. Is there a way to tell with a multimeter if the switch is bad or not?

Re: wiring for hatch release

You can test the switch for continuity. Check the wiring from switch to the motor. And power to switch.

Re: wiring for hatch release

I have no power to the switch. There is a separate circuit for the hatch release solenoid, isn't there? Where would the fuse for that be?

Re: wiring for hatch release

look at the 2nd page of that hatch wire diagram from above that I included in post 3.

Power comes from the ACC fuse in the fuse panel. You also have a relay involved.
