Headlights

Godd morning yall

Having a problem with my headlights. Boughts some ebay HIDS? I think. Hooked them up. The low beams were fine and the high beams were on dim. When switched to hi beams low beams were dim but hi beams were on. Started smelling plastic. Melting when harness. So i got a ebay hasness convesion kits and now it is hi beams all day. On the lo and hi settings. But at least im not melting plugs. Want brighter lights but dont wanna hack up stock harness. Any thoughts? Thanks

Re: Headlights

Well, to start I would throw away the HID setup if it's pulling power from the headlight circuit and not it's own separate relay that pulls power from the alternator/battery.

Re: Headlights

Thats where the harness kit comes in. It is now pulling from battery. Also think thats why my dash is dim. Just put leds in that. But i may need to put a regular bulb in the hi beam indicator spot.
