Light driver module

I am in the final stages of putting a 1991 350 TPI motor in a 1984 Pontiac Firebird.
on the 1984 the service engine soon light goes from the ECM to a light driver module to the dash. I cannot find anything that refers to the light driver module for the 1991 set up. Does the 1991 Pontiac Firebird with the tune port injection use a light driver module or I wire it directly from the ECM to the check engine light?
