406 S.B
[/IMG] Thinking about trying some thing different again, so I'm putting my motor up for sale: 406 roller, Holley 750 mech.sec, Victor air gap intake, Crane Gold Race 1.6 rockers, new pushrods, Lunati cam 234in-242ex-536/552, AFR210 Heads, All arp hardware, forged pistons, 10:1 comp. Everything has less than 500 miles exept block, I had J&T install the parts when I freshened it up. Asking $3,000 for it from carb to pan and will throw in the headers, Hooker 2210 super comp w/ Jet Hot Coating.

Hey Battz,
Have you had the motor dynoed? Any hp/tq numbers you can share?
How are the boys over at J&T? Haven't been around there in a while.

Re: 406 S.B
I haven't had the motor dynoed, gonna assume around high three hundred or so. With smaller heads, cam, and intake the car went 12.10 @ I think around 110, it was a while that's why i'm not sure, with a bad 2.0 60. This was with stock susp. no gears and good year's. J&T crew is good, just saw them the other day, they moved into larger building no too far from the other shop.

Re: 406 S.B
Well, with the new cam it has less vacc. for the brakes but you can alway's add a vacc can. It deffinatley chops and shakes, I guess it depends on what you consider street friendly. It drives well on street, and never overheats. If you have anyother ? feel free to ask.

Re: 406 S.B
There's no reason you can't drive it daily, some people want a smoother idle for daily driving but if it doesn't bother you then great or just swap out the cam.

Re: 406 S.B
No thanks.

Not sure if I'm keeping the motor yet. But, if I decide to pull motor and part it out I will post everything. Thanks.
