I live in richmond and I'll take that trans/converter setup if it comes with at least a guarantee that it will run when installed. i dont wanna say 30 days or anything cause the car's gonna be down for probably 2 months.

..... i mean, if the car's still together and running how much can I just buy the whole car for? sounds like you built it right-I'm about to totally gut mine and redo the whole powertrain, you might be able to save me some trouble here

Re: Parting out a 1988 Camaro

camarostylin, i can guarantee the trans works upon installation. it only has about 5k on it since the rebuild, granted it has about 30 passes on the 1/8th mile on it. i have driven the car to new jersey and a few times without any problem and would feel comfortable getting in it right now and drive it almost anywhere. like i said only reason im sellin it for parts is because i felt i could get more money for it that way due to the fact that its not the prettiest looking car in the world. i mean its not horrible but it has a bad maacco paint job on it and the interior needs some freshening. it has potential if someone were to strip it down and paint it right, there is no major rust on the car just some bubbling paint from shotty bodywork underneath. i would sell the car as is for $2500, it has a clear title and is still registered and insured so a test drive would be possible. its killin me to get rid of it cuz i have put money into it to get it running good and it drives real nice and smooth and straight. let me know what you think, and if you want a more immediate response try me on my cell, thanks

Re: Parting out a 1988 Camaro

Will sell whole drivetrain (motor, trans, driveshaft, rear) for $2000. that includes all wiring ecm fuel pump etc. $2300 to include nitrous kit. $2500 for whole car seeing as it would save me time from pulling all this stuff. Cash talks.
