I have decided to part a car I have held on to for a long time. It is a complete running driving 1985 TRANS AM T-TOP Automaitc TPI 305 car. options include but are not limited to wheel disc brakes overhead console split folddown rear seat. Car is black with a Black and Grey interior. Interior is fair with some good usable black parts. Exterior is also in pretty good shape with many nice TRANS AM parts. Has Black GTA hood. TRANS AM spoiler. good fenders doors bumper cover dash and GFX.. Car ran amazingly well. Needed Cat when parked a few years ago. Back reg and expenses force me to just get rid of it. Very rust free parts. EVERYTHING functioned properly when is was parked. I am running out of room at my house so IF you need something let me know as it will not be here long before it gets hauled for scrap! I lost the paperwork a few years ago, but it is not in the California DMV system if anyone is interested in the shell etc. IT MUST GO!!!!!!!!

Do not part and scrap that if it's even half as good as you claim. Sell it outright to someone that will put love into it and keep it on the road. Remember - they don't make these cars anymore so the number on the road just keeps going down and down with each person that decides to scrap them. Not only that, but it is going to take a considerable amount more time to part it then it would to sell it outright and you'll get just about the same amount of cash either way by the time you are done. Since time seems to be a valuable commodity in your life, it may just be the wiser route.

I'm going to second that. Not to tell anyone what to do, but it took me a YEAR to find nearly the same car, probably in not as nice a condition as yours is. I don't know the rules in the US, but in Canada I have had some success getting cars without papers back into the system...legally of course. Good luck.

engine harness and ecm are sold. many parts left on the entire car. Interior was/is even cleaner then I thought initially. thanks to you guys who have texted and emailed it is much appreciated and a much faster response.

As for parting/scraping the car. I have been doing this for 20 years now. I have had a ton of fun and made some decent money doing it. but I have no less then 8 different 67-73 cars right now which include a real 69 trans am and a 70 trans am coming. the paperwork is easy to fix. the back fees are a bit pricey but not insurmountable. the body is clean as a whistle and the options are nice. I just don't have the room or the time. ANYONE is welcome to whatever is left at anytime. I would like to see it go to a good home however I have til the end of the month before the 70 will be here. Believe me I brought my son home from the hospital in this car. I didn't want to let it go but sadly it must go for a far better car. anyone on the west coast who wants a sell with parts call me. I can and would deliver it if you cover the gas. if not sorry guys there will be one less trans am in the world.
