Strut Tower Brace
Hi- I'm looking for a good strut tower brace for my 85 IROC TPI 305. I'm worried because I have a fiberglass IROC turbo hood and I'm afraid of what might happen if I get a 3-point STB. Any suggestions and recommendations on were to get a good deal on one? Thanks in advance. Stu

The clearance. My fiberglass hood has a filmsy back lower support peice by the windsheild and I don't want it to crack and break my hood. I've heard about clearance issues with the 3-pt ones thats why I'm looking for a 2 pt one. Thanks.

I'm running a stock hood with an Edelbrock 3-pt. No problems. Check the following link for info/pics:

JamesC- Thanks for the info. I think I'll be good with a 2-pt one- my car is only a 305. I'm just trying to see were I can get a good deal on one? Thanks for the help.

Sure- how about a pic and a price shipped to 14532 NY? I read in summitt if it is edelbrock it is supposed to be a model # 5226- for my 85 TPI 305- do you know which it is? Let me know. Thank you. Stu

this is something that interests me as well since I'm doing a coil-over conversion on my 92Ls swap. Toss a price for the brace to me shipped to 32533 if somebody before me doesn't speak up for it. Thanks, Bill
