Hey guys, here's my deal. I've got an 87 Formula in desperate need of new shocks/struts, springs, and strut mounts. My driver front strut mount is completely shot and so are my rear shocks.

I'm actually wanting to lower the car a little bit but don't think I can go passed 1" because of my 3" exhaust pipe under the passenger side of the car.

I'm looking to see if anyone on here has a set up they used for a while but decided to change. Let me know what everyone has. If I don't find anything on here I'm probably just going to get some Moog springs and some factory replacement shocks/struts. But if I went that route I would like to find a nice set of some used front upper strut mounts. I don't feel like spending $120 on a pair from Summit. Seems a little ridiculous.

if you dont want to spend $120 on stock style strut mounts, i wouldnt lower the car because you will need to install spherical type mounts that allow more strut travel and they are in upwards of $220-270 and are needed unless you want to replace your front struts every 6 months.

I just bought a set of koni Yellows so the KYB's I have on the car now will be coming off shortly. they are the silver ones and are still in good shape.

i have a whole tokico performance shock strut spring kit. 1 1/4 drop, and there blue series shocks and struts. have less than 7k on them and i went to a drag shock and spring setup. i even have the upper strut mounts from the car

also... this car had a 3" exhaust system and it was just fine....

I have a stock gm strut/shock from my 87 Z-28.
I set my car up as a drag car only.
I also have a set of stock gm front springs too.
The car only had 60,000 miles.

Asking: $20. for shocks & $20. for springs
