ANYTHING!

I know this may sound bad, but I am a college student with a 85 Sport Coupe that I paid $200 for. I'm trying to do what I can for what little money I have, so anything of a reasonable/cheap price would be awesome. Intake, headers, valve covers, you name it I probably want it. Any offers would be great, the worse I could say is no thanks.

Re: ANYTHING!

Just a suggestion, but why not save your pennies on a nicer car in a few years vs blowing money on a $200 car

Re: ANYTHING!

Idk I guess I'm trying to take as much pride in this car as I can. I've always wanted to buy a "muscle car" that needed work and work on it all that I can and make it a NICE car. Just something I've always wanted to do since I was a little kid, and a week after my 20th birthday this past year I got that opportunity. but trying to pay for an EXPENSIVE A$$ college and work on it is kind of hard.

Thanks for the input though, and I get what you're saying. =)

Re: ANYTHING!

Im in school too and I can tell you its alot easier when you just drive a car for the mean time then mod it later. My last batch I semi-regret because it makes the car basically undrivable in less than perfect weather and with as careless as the campus kids are it WILL get messed up. Plus there are lots and lots of break-ins/thefts so my cheap DD, turned nasty hotrod becomes less than ideal to carry me through college

Matter of fact, Im trying to find another $2-500 car to knock around my next semester. If it gets messed up, who cares. Nice one is sitting safely at home in the garage

Re: ANYTHING!

Yah, I agree with everyone obove. College same as you bud. Get it running and safe and then keep it that way. It's wonderfull having a crapy car that you wouldn't care if it got stolen, scratched, or broken into. I don't have the luxurey. I'm constantly worried about my car. IF, you need parts, feel free to buy them. I got a decent Holly 4 barrell carb that would fit your engine just fine if you need a replacemen/upgrade. Comes with a Holly rebuild fast kit as well.

Re: ANYTHING!

I have a new set of hooked headers with y-pipe for sale as well as some other things. P/n for the headers is 2055hkr. You can check out my posting here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...pp-intake.html - also consider that I'm open to offers. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Re: ANYTHING!

Hey guys sorry I'm just getting back to ya'll.
@ Skelitor I'm not really looking for a carburetor but thanks though
@ theno1prince I'm actually looking into new headers so I might pm you
@ F-body Demon, you're the first one I've talked to that is in New Bern. I actually live there, I just go to school in fayetteville. But anyways, no thanks on the intake, I actually just did a intake swap yesterday. took out the stock and put in a edelbrock performer and really don't want to have to do that again for a while. that was a headache and a half.

@ anyone, I'm mainly looking for exhaust headers now. Thanks everyone for the input and offers!
