Interchange Part Number:10456091 25007224
Other Part Number: 213-199 213-198
I can't guarantee that this is the correct one (10mm vs 23mm) but RockAuto comes up with this:

Re: Looking for trans speed meter 700R4 Trans
Pretty sure that none of those speed sensors listed above will work; they all show the 90-92 version. A a minimum, the plug from an 87 Firebird will not fit into that sensor. I do not think that are functionally compatible either.
The electric VSS you'll need would be from a 84-86 Berlinetta, 86-89 Firebird or some similar year Vets. There are at least 2 different (automatic) versions of this Speed sensor. The correct electric VSS and tranny speedo gears you need will depend on your gear end gearing. ( VSS required depends on the speedo gear tooth count - which depends on the rear gears. )
The speedo gear tooth count each type of that style VSS will accept is samped onto the body of the VSS.
As described by others,.... the VSS you have pictured is for a auto tranny, the stick tranny requires a smaller VSS.

Re: Looking for trans speed meter 700R4 Trans
Hi John from little Rhody and others that have taken the time to reply to my request.
My trans guy tells me that the samples you have shown me will not work.
They are for later years. The photo that John posted is the correct one. The tooth count on the gear on my sensor is 38, so the unit will have to work with tooth count 34 to 39.
I have managed to find a couple of correct ones on line and the vendor is charging anywhere from $150 to $200 dollars.
My trans guy is doing a search also.
This will be my Holy Grail.
Thanks,
Louis
