Edelbrock TBI to MPFI conversion?

Anybody use or try the Edelbrock conversion kit. I have a chance to get one at little or no cost but I don't ever see mention of these come up.

It's been discused in the TBI forum before, seems like the kit is made for trucks and Camaros use a different computer and the wiring is different too, I think you might have to adapt a trucks computer to you car to make it work.

Send a message via AIM to iroc22
Truck= 7746
Car= 8746

They're very similar but different in some aspects. I didnt think that they were so different that the Edelbrock injection doesnt work with it.

The MPFI wont fit under a Camaro hood, and I would make sure about clearances with your Caprice.

P.S. When Horsepower TV swapped the TBI for this system I was also very unimpressed with the gains.

Here is the thread where I got the idea that the computer would need to be changed to one from a truck.
