I dont know if it will fit. I don't THINK it will, but I can't say for sure. You can make it fit though if you want. The 3.8 is a good engine. Those Buick Grandnationals have a turbo charged version which is very easy to get into the 11's... if you want you can go that route and have a really cool TTA replica . Provided you have a transam anyway :P

2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 are 60 degree vee engines. 3.8 is 90 degree.
They ain't the same, and basically nothing on/to them is the same.

Yup and good luck finding a driver's side thirdgen 3.8 mount. Passenger side is a common one with another application, so that's not a problem, but the drivers side is a unique piece.

You could get a custom mount made...
However, the chance of you being able to "match" everything up is going to be very critical. I'ld try calling around to shops that sell engines and ask if they have an interchange book.
The mounts shouldn't be too terrible expensive, and if your good with welding can make your own.
The accessories such as the alternator and A/C (if it has one) will be the biggest problem.
If the interchange says it'll fit, then your Ok
Good Luck, eh

I say if your willing to go through all the headache of swapping to a different style v6, you might as well swap over to a v8 w/ a carb. Itll be easier than trying to get a gn 3.8 under the hood.

if its complete with computer and harness then its a sweet deal. If not its still a very nice engine.

That's Great
The Lt1 with very little work (ex. headers, exhaust, intake and a chip) will definitly get you into the 13's possibly high 12's.
