Lt1 Vats ?
I have a LT1 from a 93 Z28 that I am going to put in my 89 IROC this coming year, i was wondering if the fuel enable signal to the 93 ECM is the same one my 89 VATS module puts out, if yes, can I just wire my 89 VAT to the 93 ECM? if it is different, I will just program it out

PM Dale, he's hooking me up w/a VATS bypass module for my swap. He should be able to answer your question as he did a complete 3.4 SFI swap in an S10 truck & had to deal w/VATS crap.

Hello mat89RS,
I beg to differ with you about the 1993 VATS modules. I have a 1993 VATS module and key sitting in front of me and they are the same part as what is in my 1989 Iroc. Besides, the ECM only looks for a signal from the VATS control module saying the resistance code is good. There are no codes for the VATS stored in the ECM, they are only stored in the key and the VATS control module.
The Trickster!!!!!!!!!!!
