305 TPI. build or swap?

ok huys i have a question i have a 305 tpi that has some mods on it and prob pushing around 270hp and running around mid 14's (never ran it ath the track just an estimate i get from everyone) but should i do more mods to my 305 and add juice or should i look for a different motor. im looking for the cheapest way to do this to get the best times.

example would i be able to get my 305 to run faster that a Lt1 if i used the money to mod my engine instead of getting a new engine?

Spray is the cheapest way to add power. It just gets expensive when you don't do it right or spray too much and grenade the engine.

You can probably go faster with a sprayed 305 than you could for a $2000 LT1 swap-in. However, add the few hundred more to spray the LT1, and it'll be a lot faster, and last a lot longer. Spending $2000 to build the 305 to take more spray doesn't make much sense - to me, at least.
