Well I ahve a 1991 camaro RS... used to have a 191. Just recently the engine... pretty much had a heart attack, and stroke, and died. It can start but stalls and has a metal slamming against metal sound in the engine, and all the pushrods are fine. Anyway I had a 305 from a junkyard, bearings were completly shot and piston rods and crankshaft were destroied. So the engine setup (pistons, camshaft, connecting rods, crankshaft, block, oil pan, oil pump, ect) was trashed and I was on the hunt for a new engine setup. Found one for free, along with MAF, and air duct... did I say this was a TPI? The only thing the free engine is missing is the intake, and I have that. After I get the engine a simple swap of oil pump and oil pan, and installation of intake is needed. After that the wiring harness can be installed, then trannie... then I can rip out my old ruined V6. I can sell it maybe to someone, or donate it to my tech school. The V6 had a TH700-R4 in it. I am placing a 5 speed manual with hydrolic clutch on the V8... should be a nice change.
