Hi everyone, I've been working this summer on dropping in a 350TPi to my 89 RS Roller project. Everything is so far so good up until now. Not sure if I'm posting in the wrong section but since this pertains to the swap I'll post here for now.

I'm having a tough time figuring out the wiring on the driverside Firewall. My TPI harness is out of an 89 Iroc and the car is an 89 RS so I had hoped that they would match up pretty simple. But on one side I have three purple wires and a yellow, the other side has 2 purples. I picked up a TPI swappers Guide and have done a good amount of searching here on the boards but haven't found exactly how to wire that spot on the harness.

I'm unfortunatly not very good at reading the wiring diagrams to figure this out. Is there and easier way to get this wired properly? We tried to turn the car over and it started turning but when the key was turned off the car kept turning over and the negative battery cable got real hot real fast.

If this is truely beyond my ability then I'll pay for someone who knows more than me to do it but if its something I can do myself I'd prefer to Do as much on my own as I can with the car.

Let me know if there is more information I need to give, also can do pictures if needed.

If anyone knows at least somewhere to direct me on this, any help would be appreciated. Even any ideas on someone I could get to wire this for me without charging and arm and a leg.
