LT1 accessories

Can I use lt1 accessories from any year lt1 engine, like 93 and up? I found some accessories I wanna get but they are from a 93 lt1 camaro, and I wanna be sure they will fit on my 96 LT1 with caprice bracket

Yeah I thought about that but with the vette bracket the cost of the accessories would be rediculous, so I will stick with the caprice/fbody bracket, especially since I already have the bracket bought and on the way. I dont have any proble cutting the crossmember. Just wanted to make sure all the accessories would bolt up to the 95 bracket. thanks

Re: LT1 accessories

The brackets were the same between 93-97. As far as the a/c, you don't actually have to cut the k-member, you can just use a BFH (big freaking hammer) on it where the a/c compressor would hit it to clear. I would suggest cold hammering it and not heating it up to keep the strength in the metal.
