what motor?
i have a 86 camaro came with a v6 5 speed and just got done into a v8 is a little tired 350 with 75 shot of nos and a th350 trany. now my Q is what motor and trany do i go with next a ls1 and trany, bbc and keep trany or 406 sbc and same trany? and y ? thanks

well right now im willing to spend about 2000 or 3000 little more little less im looking for a fast car in 1/4 mile(high 11 or mid 11) so dont know what to do

well with that kind of budget i say keep saving or buy upgrades for ur current 350... u do not have ehough money to do a good bbc or lsx swap..

Set a budget and try to stick to it. It is easy to get carried away (ie. starting with a 300hp engine and ending up wanting more power, which = more $).

power im looking to make about 600 little less little more. i just dont know what will be the best motor to go with?

You're not going to get 600 HP for 2 or 3 thousand dollars. Pick a more realistic goal.

for 2-3k a good used 600cc sport bike will put you into the 11's and get
40-50mpg
it does not take 600hp to go 11's
600 will not be a street motor unless you achieve that with a bottle
