Having hard time finding the right knock sensor
I have been having a hard time finding a 350'knock sensor for a 91 RS camaro... Can I use a tpi like this:
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=37250185787
Or what part number should I be looking up? I can't find anything, this is the only one I found.

Re: Having hard time finding the right knock sensor
If keeping TBI, use a B-body LO5 knock sensor/ECM/injectors

Re: Having hard time finding the right knock sensor
Ok, so I'd be best off finding a truck or Buick/Oldsmobile/ etc with a 350, pulling that knock.... Only problem is I need to find one for a 91, right? Someone said my ECM is fine with the swap, actually a couple of people did, this not true?

Re: Having hard time finding the right knock sensor
Try to avoid the truck LO5 stuff except for the injectors
The B-body stuff is essentially the same as your 3rd gen system, just packaged differently. Since it was available in the LO5, grab it and run it directly
The Truck is a completely different harness/PCM so minor sensors are not the same in all cases
FWIW, Id suggest buying new knock sensors. They're easy to damage

Ok now where would I find a new knock sensor? I have been looking, I can't find anyone or anywhere that sells them.

Re: Having hard time finding the right knock sensor
Well I would have found it easier if I were to type in "91 caprice knock sensor", I was typing in "91 camaro knock sensor".... Ok, I found one...
