Dual Exhaust For An 86 Firebird

Car: 1986 Firebird
Axle/Gears: 9" Moser with 3.85
Dual Exhaust For An 86 Firebird

I need to know some prices for getting a custom 3" Dual (No Cat) exhaust will run me back.

That totally depends on what parts you decide to make it out of because chances are you will have to do it yourself. It is illeagal for exhaust shops to put true duals on a car that origionally had a single exhaust. Also, if you are putting it on the 305 then you definately dont need or want dual 3". A single 3" is supposed to support upwards of 350hp pretty well and dual 2.5 is equal to a single 3.5 in inside area. Also there is not much room under the cars so get under the car and look at where you want to route the stuff because you will have to plan carefully in order to have decent clearance. Here is a picture of my dual 2.5 with h pipe and bullet mufflers which also brings up the point that there is not much room for large mufflers or to run the exhaust over the rear axle. Both can be done but will be much tougher to do. Mine is still clamped because I dont have a welder and the car is not in driveable condition yet(new motor) to take it to an exhaust shop.
