ACKKkk!!! My SLPs changed shape.
When I bought my SLP headers the bolt holes lined up fine with the holes on my AFR heads. I ran the car for about 5,000 miles till the engine blew (don't ask). Now I'm putting it back together and the holes don't line up. I got the right side header on by installing one bolt and having a friend "pull real hard" on one primary tubes while I attempted to wedge a bolt into the holes. Well I cross-threaded one of em. Got the other 5 out of 6 tho. Now I have to install the other side but now the engine is in the car and it will be much harder to pull on the primary tubes which didn't work all that well anyway. You got any tricks to get these to line up? I guess I could drill the holes on the headers larger but I'm kinda worried about exhaust leaks. Thanks guys.

Take them off and check the flange with a straight edge. I'll betcha you got a warped flange(s).

You think a trip to the machine shop (mill) will take care of it? Or am I going to have to get them bent or heat treated or somethin?

A machine shop can probably fix it, but it really just depends on how bad it is. I would just take them in to a shop and ask them what they can do with them.
