New T56 / Long Tubes crossmember
Just finished up fitting a new SPD crossmember ( http://www.skulte.com/product_info.p...products_id/83 )
with Long Tubes and T56 (Both new for me this Winter)
I have a directory dumped with lots of pics along the way,
but mostly because:
1) I never fabbed an exhaust system before
2) I wanted to retain my rod-end Spohn torque-arm
3) I wanted a quiet street exhaust, with electric cutouts.
The crossmember tucks up the exh pipes real nicely and
can probably make the poly mount the lowest part of the
car, but I lost an additonal 1.5-2.0" ground clearance because of
the NHRA loop around the rod-end, and the cutout flange.
(A professional could probably get back 0.5-1.0 though)
My T56/LongTube Picture collection
Buttoned up everything this weekend, still have to go
back and put gaskets in the flanges, and tidy up the
wiring for the cutouts, but basically ready to roll once
I get the rest of my Winter projects done..

Sound Clip
Finally got the motor put back together.. The above is a clip of the
Dynomax 17220 muffler through the exhaust. I then opened up
the dual 3" electric cutouts (and swept the garage out.. :-) and then
closed the cutouts again..
