As title says seeing what kind of interest there would be. I could probaly sell them to you for 175$ compared to the 107.39$ on summit.

Just let me know what you think of the idea.

Are your prices correct? The Summit price is $70 lower than yours.

The hedmen version is 2.5" I would be offering a 3" version.

Your idea sounds pretty good. I think you should give it a shot. 3 inch is pretty nice.

Yeah, I've got the Heddmans, part #68470, and I would definitely be interested in a 3" Y pipe. I don't need it yet, but if you decide to do this, I can let you know when I'm ready to buy a Y.

I have a machine shop where I work that has a lot of equipment I could use to make it along with a brand new Miller 210 we just got.

I would be making it like you would custom headers. I would use my car as the template.

I actualy have made one before on a 350 TPI car.

Also note the reason for this.

In order to get a 3" Y-pipe on shorty headers you would have to go with hookers. With the headers and y-pipe they are 375$.

With using hedmen headers and my 3" y-pipe it would be 315$

Also both of which do not have provisions for the 02 sensor which I could weld in and if you wanted I could even do full bolt in and include a cat or test pipe with a socket and flang adapter for aftermarrket exhaust systems.

60$ don't seem like much but if you are running shoties because of clearence and arn't able to weld or are on a tight budjet the 60$ could be spent elsewhere.
----------
You know what it looks like the hooker y-pipe is 2.5" out as well.

87 Camaro Kid:

It would be dual 2.5" into single 3".

I might be able to do dual 3" but might run into clearence issues with the starter. I would have to check.

My dad Dyno Don did dual 2.75" into dual cats into 3.5" for his and Allen's (1989TransAmGTA) cars. It just barely fit. We figure dual 3" y-pipes would be too big.
I'm keeping dual 2.5" on mine because my car is lowered and the ground clearance is nil.
