Car: 90 Formula, 02 ws6
Engine: 305 tpi, ls1
Transmission: 700r4, t-56
Axle/Gears: stock posi 2.73, 12 bolt with 4.11s
what is the cat inlet and outlet size for a 1990 305 tpi
i just picked this car up today and i used to have an 89 305 tpi and it had a 3" in/out cat but i have been hearing that the 1990 cars have 2 1/4"...is that true?
i want to put a 3" exhaust on the car and i just wana know if any of you guys know

Some cars came with 2 3/4in, some with the smaller 2 1/4in. You just have to look at your pipe to see. If you have the smaller exhaust plan to scrap it from the manifolds back and get something worthwhile in its place.

ya thats what i figured i just did not wana do the headers yet haha
