Catback question.

Trying to decide which catback(well actually y back) to go with. I currently have the flowmaster and just dont like it. Its just too poppy and resonates horribly, plus the drone and choppiness in the car. Thinking about Spintec or Magnaflow's polished fiber packed muffler. The setup is the typical 2 1/5 into Y with 3" into the muffler and duals out from there. Any ideas or soundclips would be greatlt appreciated.

Re: Catback question.

Yea, the Flowmaster is not what its cracked up to be for these cars. I have the 40 series on my Supercrew and they sound great, but for the F-bodies not so much. Its been on there for 8 years or so and its time for it to go away.

Re: Catback question.

I have Borla on my LS1 T/A and my 91 TPI car. I love the way they sound but they are $$$, I got great deals on my kits, $250 for the one on my T/A and my 3rd gen came with it.

Otherwise I'd buy a magnaflow, hands down the best sound/performance vs price IMO.
