spintech by far it is not raspy like flowmaster, although spintechs are heavy they are the best quality muffler i have ever bought. there flow is much higher too than flowmaster.

Depends on what muffler. I have heard a spintech and it sounded good, but i have heard a few mufflex kits that used flowmasters that sounded great. Depends on the motor tho, hotter the combo the better the sound.
My friends car had a single chamber flowmaster on it and it was one of the best sounding cars i've heard. Has abit of a rasp but i like that sound. Straight pipe dumped over the axle had the same rasp and was much louder but the car still sounded good with the flowmaster. Those 1 chamber race style mufflers flow good too.
I had an 80 series on my L98 and liked it. Wasnt too bad. I like my chambered tube much better. I have yet to hear a spintech on a L98
What can you tell me about the prom tune? I just did a T56 swap in my 350 Z 91 and had promforless do the chip. I have not driven in long yet but it seems like the engine may want to stall. I had hoped these guys knew what they were doing. Any suggestions?
Flowmaster but not the 80 series, I like the 30 series that my Force II has, No rasp and not loud at all. I really think that it has all to do with the motor, If it's stock I think there are better sounding mufflers out there but on a modded motor I like them better then anything else. IMO.
Yeah I have a hard time believing a spintech will flow as well as a flowmaster. Flowmasters arent exactly the king of flow, but the spin traps arent the most aerodynamic either.

I really like the sound of my 4" Spintech muffler, but have also heard of the horror storys about how bad they flow. This past fall I picked up a 4" Dynomax ultra-flo round 17537 muffler. I put down 413 rwhp with the Spintech muffler, so we'll see what she does with the ultra-flo powerwise this summer.
flowmasters 80 series with 3.5 inch tips, hedman headers, no cat 3 inch y pipe equals muscle car sounds.... very loud and bassy and people think i have a monster underneath the hood...... who cares which one flows the best if its a daily driver, not everyone is hellbent on numbers...... here is my clip
SPINTECH!!! I am running two Sportsmans on my car. They sounded great when the engine was stock but now I have a new set up they sound down right nasty.
