Check out my new Duals

So I had a shop put Dual exhaust on my 305 TBI 88 Camaro, The exhaust is based off of the member Willie. I didnt use bullet mufflers though and I had headers but we didnt use them idk why, The pipes go over the axle into a pair of Flowmaster 10 series mufflers.
This clip is a Before and After sound. The first 55 seconds are before, srry for the wind noise. Tell me what you think!

What did you pay to get this exhaust made? Like the materials and the labor?

Re: Check out my new Duals

Do you have any pictures of the set up from underneath? Shops around here keep telling me its not possible to put true duals on my car because there is no space..

So id like to show up with some blue prints next time i go.

Sounds nice.

Re: Check out my new Duals

I can try to take some pictures of it but they will be pretty close up since I will have to squeeze under the car. This is what my exhaust kinda looks like anyway, I based it off this guys build. http://members.optushome.com.au/iroc...st/exhaust.htm

Man, that's a tight fit! Sounds much better than the first part of the exhaust video. What did use to make the video?

The video quality is real good! I got a Kodak Zi8 Saturday. Waiting for a 16gb card so I can record more than 11 seconds. That was a cool video of your car! Looks and sounds great!

Re: Check out my new Duals

the pipes are steel and 2.5inches. The mufflers are Flowmaster 10 series. They are like half the size of normal mufflers

Re: Check out my new Duals

Sounds good, what's rattling? Your idle is fluctuating. Not sure what that is. Your Flip camera sure has a great picture. Is that 720 HD?

Re: Check out my new Duals

What rattle? when do you hear it? It may be the exhaust, the car needs some tuning. and the fluctuating has gotten better since ive changed the IAC, it used to be worse. I think the camera shoots in 720 HD

When the idle starts to come back down there is a noise, not sure what it is, might be just the exhaust. Are you using the internal mic?

It sure does a good job. I don't think the noise is any thing but exhaust. Your ride sounds like a 350! No one would know just by listening! I'm going to do some practice runs with my camera in the next few days. It records in 1080p. Haven't tried it out side yet. I'll post it on YouTube. I changed out my 15 year old Flowmaster for a VX two chamber. Sounds close to yours. Not sure how it will turn out, but I'll post when I do. Thanks for sharing!
