Long tube hedman 68460 and t5 slave clearance
I'm picking up a set of hedman long tubes and have been searching this site on fitment issues and was able to find the problems with the a arm mount needs to be notched and the collector on drivers side runs into the slave cylinder. I also saw where another member said that he extended his collector or something to remedy this problem so before I tackle this project I was wondering if anyone knows how exactly the driver side collector was modified or length of any extension used i would really appreciate it

How does that throw out bearing work? Does it replace the slave cylinder or something? If so that might be what I need to do because I would rather not chop up my headers just to get them to fit

you drop the trans and bellhousing to replace the stock throwout bearing with the hydraulic one...you get rid of the stock clutch fork and run the lines for the throwout bearing out thru the hole where it used to be...

Re: Long tube hedman 68460 and t5 slave clearance
Sounds good. I was reading up on this swap and it says I'll need to swap out the master cylinder in order for this setup to work. This is getting pricey quick!!! I think I'll just cut and weld the headers like I originally planned on considering this is a daily driven car and can't be out of commission longer than a wknd. Thanks for all the help guys
