Stainless headers for an L98

Does anyone make a good quality stainless header for an L98 besides Stainless Works? I still have the stock exhaust on my pristine, 24,000 mile 88 IROC. I've decided its just too quiet...plus I wouldn't mind some HP benefits from a better exhaust. As much as I would love an SLP 2OTL for it, I never seem to come across one when its for sale. I've had one on my LT1 since 2001, and I love it...maybe I'll get lucky.

Anyway, my thought was to do Stainless Works LTs and Y pipe, tie them into a Magnaflow dual cat arrangement if it can be done, and probably a Stainless Works catback if I can't find a 2OTL. Thoughts on this setup are appreciated...I want to keep cats, to keep the car from smelling. I had a Magnaflow catback on my 91 RS, and while it sounded awesome with Edelbrock shorties, the drone was more than I want for this car.

Is a 30hp bump realistic from LTs, dual cats and a catback? I'm not doing a CAI...leaving it with the stock airbox with the removeable baffles taken out, with drop-in K&Ns. I may buy a second stock airbox and gut it...haven't decided yet. I do not wish to hack this car in anyway, but better sound and performance can't hurt.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Although, I no longer see the Magnaflow dual cat arrangement available through Summit Racing...maybe they don't make it anymore? Does anyone else? Would it even fit with LTs, or am I stuck with an ORY?

Honestly, stick with the single cat system - they fit universally between factory and aftermarket y-pipes, most headers for oem single cat applications, and most cat backs.

Keep in mind that there is no standard dual cat system - most of the aftermarket systems back in the day for dual cats required cutting and welding as every year had different arrangements.

I know that good long tube headers can pick up 10 to 20hp vs. stock, but you won't get much out of a catback, unless you have big power and what you are running now is a restriction (350hp and up).
