off my 87 iroc-z lenses are not cracked, and all the rings could use is a coat of paint, i might even do that, but they are not rusted or flaking or anything like that. have been on my car for a few years

Your trying to compare an OEM, American made quality part, to a cheapo, Taiwan-made Autozone piece?
