Camaro SS wheels
I bought a set of SS wheels that I decided to rework. I posted a thread beforehand, but I decided to make the wheels a thread in it's own since I restored them. I used a custom black/ghost from Dupont, as well as clear from Dupont also. I'm asking $450 + shipping, and I think that's fair considering the materials cost.
Before
After
I would say these are definitely roadworthy, but I didn't fill in small nicks and such because I intended to drive on them and these spots aren't particularly noticable. I did sand these spots down however to provide a more even surface if needed. What you see is exactly what you're getting. These are fresh and havent even been buffed yet. Also take note that the flake can only be seen when directly in the sunlight, and that's exactly the effect I wanted. Subtle and clean.

Re: Camaro SS wheels
Really appreciate all the comments. Credit goes towards my best friend Jimmy, as he did the work on them I merely watched, as I'm trying to learn how to paint and do prepwork.
Wheels are still up for sale.

17x9, I don't know the backspacing offhand (I can check) but I can tell you that you'll need 2" spacers to be able to run them on your Camaro.
I'm really happy with the color. Couldn't be happier.

Bump for the wheels. I still have them.. and I still need to get around to buffing the wheels. Completely forgot about doing that, actually.

Bump. I've still got these, just haven't pushed hard trying to sell them. Open to trades on other wheels, performance parts, the whole deal.

Re: Camaro SS wheels
im working on a 76 nova right now and these would be sweet on that car. let me make sure they will clear the rear section of frame and we might be able to work a deal. also are these 9" wide all the way around?

All the way around, yep. Takes 275/40/17 tires. I'm down for trades also, not just cash. REALLY trying to save my pennies for a 383 stroker kit.

Re: Camaro SS wheels
I actually wanted them before I saw the after pics...not that they don't look great, I just don't think they'd look that good on a car that's already black..

Re: Camaro SS wheels
Just depends on what you've done to your car and your taste. Black on black tends to look clean, but some people just don't like the look. That's what makes everyone different I guess
