GM factory Fender Flares
I have a complete set front and rear of the very rare GM Factory Fender Flares for a third gen. They were stock on my 91 Trans Am GTA. Last time I saw a set of these online, they sold for $400. I am letting mine go for $150 if anyone is interested.

they are made out of a rubber like material and are flexible. they will need to be repainted, as there are hairline cracks in the paint from removing them from the car.
each one has the location of which fender they go on inside. they attach with double sided weatherstrip tape, and two screws each on the bottom.

a lot of the cars overseas have different options that aren't available in the USA. Japan has a law that tires can't stick out past the fenders. the GTAs they sold with 255-50-r16s came factory with the flares because the front tires were so close to the edge.
here is another gem that i have. my old 84 TA had factory amber turn signals. when i sold the car, i swapped them with my 91 lights and kept them.

a lot of them were an after thought. i think it depended on whether the car was converted by the factory, or by the dealer. the 3rd gen TAs and Camaros here have funky mirrors and aftermarket Toyota front side markers on them to meet Japans regs. side mirrors have to fold in, and side markers have to be visible from a 45 degree angle from the rear.
