Hello Everyone,

I just spent over $13k with a "friend" since Februrary of 2012 getting my car back in order. Long story short is that the body work and paint has been done on the car since the end of August, but the spoiler, hood louvres and side air dam is missing and is not being returned by my "friend". It is a long, very complicated story, but this person was paid in full and I am having my brother-in-law who is an attorney file the paper work for small claims this coming Tuesday. I am not worried about getting this resolved in court, I am really worried that I have put so much money into this car, that it is not quite finished and I paid for it to be completed. If anyone in the Chicagoland area has any of the said exterior parts, please let me know ASAP. I have cash, will need receipts and willing to meet for the parts within a 75 mile radius of South Elgin. FYI, I purchased the fiberglass replacement spoiler from Hawks, so if anyone has this and wants to part with it, let me know. At this point, I have been asking for an update on the car, getting messages that it will be done next week, done the week after next, not getting my phone calls returned or answered (except for text messages), things are all paid for (labor, parts, and material) and I was allowed to take it for a test spin. That is when I got my vehicle back and decided to be civil about at least getting my parts back.

If anyone does have a good lawyer for this (brother in law just got his bar in Illinois), let me know. He still owes me the stock rally wheels with tires, stock front drivers and passenger seats that I would be willing to part with if I could at least recoup my costs.
