which engine did you have in mind? I saw build it as a full size chopper and put a TPI motor in it.

athough i think a 2 stroke motorcross engine would be more fun
horsepower to weight man... hehe....
heh, what i really want to do is take a YSR, stuff a 125 or even a 250 2 stroke motorcross motor and have at it....
for thoes that dont know, YSR is a street legal MOTORCYCLE (not moped).. and its about the size of the pocketbikes and minichoppers.. came out in the late 80s... pics:

i know... theres a guy with a pushman around where i used to live.... its a vtwin motor.. has that sound to it that you're looking for...
like i said, im looking at a more sportbike type things though, so sound isnt a issue...
i recall seeing a vtwin chainsaw motor when i worked at a small engine shop... its BIG for a chainsaw... but i bet it would fit in a minibike nicely, and if you took the muffler off, it would have a nice blat..
there cant be too many vtwin chainsaws, so i suppose you could do a search on google and come up with somthing.

I thought about building the mini choppers. I found some websites for those who make them. You arent kidding, those are mad cash toys!! With the wagon karts, ride on bodied karts, and the bar stool racers, I don't know if I could run another line efficiently. I think the market for the "real" scale mini choppers right now is a little crowded.

Speaking of mini choppers, did you see Paris Hilton and Nikki Stewart (I think that's who it was) wipe one of them out on the red carpet? I don't remember which one did it, but she gunned it and took off down the red carpet... It was one of the $5k plus nice onces too. HILARIOUS!!!

that was funny she couldn't stop and just took off and kept going.
Right now I'm in the process of building a motorized bar stool. It's sweet.
I need to know if anyone makes a turbo small enough for a 5 hp briggs? I was going to supercharge it but, I would really like a turbo instead.
I got plans for a mini chopper from ebay, they are very good, right now it's getting to about 1/2 way. The motor is a 503cc Fan Cooled Rotax motor. Dual clutch setup, fast.

People use smog pumps off of 350's & 454's, they are supposto put out around 7psi, some can generate as much as 60psi for a very short period of time, I'll do this I i can can't find a turbo.

Here are a couple pretty cool stools. The guy that makes the turbo one will sell the kit for $1400!! Jet powered would be pretty crazy too!

Plans! We don't need no stinking plans! THe only thing I have drawn up is how to make my jigs. As far as how to build them, I just built until I liked them, and kept duplicating it.

I think that last one is kinda ugly. I got a lot more pictures. I also have a movie of one doing a burnout with a mini NOS kit. The same one doing 90mph on NOS and one pulling the front tire with a meare 8 horses.

I think this is what your looking for. The wagons are almost exactly like what I build, but for half of what they want for one.
